The International Institute for Holocaust Research at Yad Vashem was established to broaden and deepen research work on the Holocaust. The Institute develops and coordinates international research projects, conferences, papers and monographs. Each year the Publication Division presents dozens of memoirs, studies and albums focusing on the Holocaust period.. The new premises of the International Institute for Holocaust Research was established through the generocity of Danek Gertner z"I, Austria. The Fund for Research on Hungarian Jewry during the Holocaust, in honor of Dr. Ingrid Tauber, was established through the generosity of Dr. Laszlo Tauber, USA.
