The Auschwitz-Birkenau Model

The Auschwitz-Birkenau Model in the Holocaust History Museum, whichdepicts the horrors of Auschwitz, is used to explain the process of how the Jews were murdered in the crematorium and gas chambers. The artist gave individual expression to the 3,000 figures contained in the display, showing the agony and embarassment of the victims as they are faced with certain death. The Auschwitz-Birkenau Model was established through the generosity of Sol and Gloria Silberzweig z ”l and Family.
